Hacked - 100 WC #21 (late publish)

Hacked

         Dan was 92% finished hacking into his local bank.  He thought he was going to do it without getting caught.   However, hacking the bank's programming took longer than anticipated.  It took him four months to hack 15% of the bank’s protective software.  Suddenly all the lights went out.  Dan’s computer shut down leaving one message out in its darkened screen: 

         Error: Hacked client found, shutting down in 3 seconds.

         “Oh, frick!”  Dan cursed in anger.  All of a sudden, Dan’s apartment door burst open.  Armed men came in, shouting.  Dan surrendered and the armed men brought him outside his apartment.

Laughter

         There are many things that make people laugh.  It can be a joke like:

My friend thinks he is smart. He told me an onion is the only food that makes you cry, so I threw a coconut at his face.

Did I get you on that joke?   No?  How about this one:

         I was listening to some loud music.  I was about to turn it off until my neighbor threw a brick into my window so he could hear it better.

Did you laugh on that one?  Laughter is a sign of joy.  Everyone laughs once in a while.
